A Visual Tour of TubeLog: Every Feature Explained

This guide walks you through TubeLog's key features with annotated screenshots so you know exactly what to expect before signing up β€” or can quickly find a feature you've been meaning to try.

#The Dashboard

After connecting your YouTube channel, the Analytics Dashboard is your home base.

The top row shows your core KPIs for the selected time range:

  • Subscribers β€” net gain/loss with trend direction
  • Views β€” total views across all connected channels
  • Watch Time β€” hours watched (YouTube's primary ranking signal)
  • Revenue β€” estimated earnings (Starter plan and above)

Below the KPIs, the Hall of Fame section highlights your most-viewed and highest-engagement video for the period.

#Analytics Charts

Clicking any metric opens the detailed chart view.

You can switch between:

  • Line chart β€” daily trend for any metric
  • Bar chart β€” compare week over week or month over month
  • Traffic Sources β€” breakdown of where views come from (Search, Browse, Subscriptions, External)
  • Demographics β€” age and gender distribution

#Thumbnail Analysis

The TubeLog Score grades your thumbnails before you publish using two AI models.

The heatmap overlay shows where viewers' eyes are predicted to land first. Red/orange = high attention. Blue/green = low attention. In the example above, the subject's face is squarely in the high-attention zone β€” a strong indicator of good CTR.

#Running a Comparison

Use the Compare tab to test up to 4 thumbnails side by side:

Each thumbnail gets an individual score, so you can see at a glance which design will likely perform best before committing.

#Subtitle Translation

The Translator tool takes your SRT/VTT file and converts it to up to 14 languages in one click.

Workflow:

  1. Upload your SRT or VTT file
  2. Select target languages (batch translation is supported)
  3. Review the output β€” TubeLog preserves timing and formatting
  4. Download individual files or a ZIP archive

Translation uses GPT-4o mini and Claude 3.5 Sonnet depending on language pair, ensuring high quality across all supported languages.

#Documentation Hub

All of TubeLog's documentation is searchable directly from the docs page.

The AI-powered search understands natural language queries β€” you can type "how do I compare thumbnails" and it will surface the relevant docs page immediately.
