TubeLog translates your video subtitles (SRT/VTT), titles, and descriptions into 100+ languages and uploads them directly to your YouTube channel via the YouTube Captions API.

12 credits per language per video

Example: Translating one video into 5 languages = 60 credits

#Supported Languages (Partial List)

Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Italian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Dutch, Polish, and 80+ more.

#How to Translate

  1. Go to Translator in the sidebar
  2. Select a connected channel and choose a video
  3. Choose the source language (auto-detect available)
  4. Select one or more target languages
  5. Optionally attach a Glossary for consistent terminology
  6. Click Start Translation

The translation job is queued and processed in the background. You'll receive a notification when complete.

#AI Translation Models

TubeLog uses top-tier AI models for translation quality:

The model is selected automatically based on language pair and content type, or you can specify a preference in Settings.

#Glossary Support

Glossaries let you define custom term translations that are enforced during every translation job.

Use cases:

  • Brand names (e.g., "TubeLog" should never be translated)
  • Technical terms (e.g., "CTR" stays as "CTR" in Korean)
  • Product names or slogans

#Creating a Glossary

  1. Go to Translator → Glossary tab
  2. Click New Glossary
  3. Add term pairs (source term → translated term)
  4. Select the glossary when creating a translation job

#Upload to YouTube

After translation completes, TubeLog can automatically:

  • Upload translated subtitles/captions as a new caption track on YouTube
  • Update the video's localized title and description for each language

This is done via the YouTube Data API v3 using your connected channel's OAuth token.

Note: YouTube requires your channel to have captions enabled. Auto-captions must be turned off for manual caption tracks to appear.

#Translation Status

Track your translation jobs in the Translator → Jobs tab:

#Subtitle Correction

Before translation, TubeLog can optionally run a subtitle correction pass using GPT-4o-mini to:

  • Fix punctuation and capitalization errors in the source SRT
  • Merge fragmented sentences across subtitle blocks
  • Remove filler words (um, uh) for cleaner captions

Enable this in the translation job settings under Pre-process source subtitles.
